New York Aquarium and Totonno's Pizza

With E's dada, Chris on paternity leave and Winnie at home resting with the new little baby, we joined C+E on a morning trip to the New York Aquarium at Coney Island.  The aquarium is not the most impressive by far, though it boasts as the oldest in continuous operation in the U.S. (since 1896!), but what do the kids know?  They get excited over the sting rays, sea lions, otters and starfish.  To top off their awesome day, we headed to Totonno's - the oldest continuous running pizzeria in the U.S. run by the same family (since 1924).  The pizza here is so simple and perfect. The garlic and plain white cheese pizza was definitely the winning favorite.

Summertime

Summer has been just flying by....lots of days spent at the zoo, botanical garden, beaches and indoors to beat the heat.
